Qualifications

• 3–6 years of litigation experience.
• Employment litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Active admission to the applicable state bar.
• Experience drafting and responding to discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Experience taking and defending depositions with substantive litigation responsibilities.
• Excellent academic credentials with strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and mediations.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, initial pleadings and substantive motions.
• Take and defend depositions and argue motions as opportunities arise.
• Counsel clients on day-to-day challenges involving employment laws and workplace matters.
• Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and other employment-related materials.
• Support client training and other proactive employment law initiatives.
• Collaborate with multiple partners across a variety of cases and align matters with interests and goals.
