• Essential experience includes employment litigation (discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination suits) and wage and hour litigation.

• Familiarity with employment counseling (policies, manuals, employee discipline/termination, wage and hour) is very helpful, with limited experience required.
• The practice offers junior lawyers significant client contact and opportunities to run cases, with the expectation that the successful candidate can immediately run some cases.
• Travel is generally limited, though some work outside California may necessitate travel for hearings and depositions.
• Full-time associates are expected to target at least 2,000 billable hours annually, including pro bono matters.
• The practice represents national corporations in both national and California-specific litigation, handling cutting-edge and standard employment matters.
• The firm's employment lawyers frequently defend class, collective, and representative actions; discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and whistleblower claims; pay equity and executive compensation disputes; and conduct sensitive internal investigations.
