Job summary

Jobot seeks an Employment Litigation Associate in Denver to lead a diverse caseload from inception through trial. The role requires solid civil litigation experience with emphasis on employment law and admission to DC and Maryland bars.

You will draft and respond to discovery, take depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations while advising clients on applicable state and federal employment laws. A dynamic, growing firm environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the DC and Maryland bars.
• 3–6 years of civil litigation experience with a focus on employment law.
• Proven experience as a case handling attorney in federal court.
• Extensive experience drafting/responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, defending depositions, and managing discovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of complex employment litigation matters from inception through trial.
• Represent clients in all stages of employment litigation, including pre-litigation, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests.
• Draft and argue motions and defend depositions.
• Manage discovery and prepare cases for trial.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Provide advice on state and federal employment laws and stay updated on developments.
