Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Houston, TX office. The attorney will defend and litigate a broad range of employment-related claims, representing employers in court and before agencies, mediations, and arbitrations.

Required are a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, 3+ years of litigation experience, and active Texas bar admission or the ability to obtain it quickly. Strong writing and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.

• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, wage‑and‑hour, and non‑compete cases.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred.
• Active Texas bar admission or ability to obtain admission quickly.
• Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications
