Job summary

Jobot, based in San Jose, California, seeks an experienced Employment Law Partner for a sophisticated litigation practice with strong career growth potential. The firm offers a competitive compensation package and a comprehensive benefits program in a top-ranked full-service environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD from an accredited law school, be admitted to the California Bar, and bring at least 8 years of employment law litigation experience, including defense of FEHA and Title VII

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 8 years of employment law litigation experience.
• Experience defending FEHA, Title VII, and related claims.
• Partial book of portable business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Defend clients in FEHA, Title VII and related claims.
• Defend class and PAGA actions.
• Handle trade secret and unfair competition matters.
• Defend wage and hour claims.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and before agencies (EEOC, DLSE, CRD).

Job Details

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

• Assist clients with defense against FEHA, Title VII, and related common law claims
• Defend class and PAGA action cases
• Handle trade secret and unfair competition actions
• Defend wage and hour claims
• Experience representing clients in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC, CRD, and DLSE, is required.
• Should bring at least a partial book of portable business.
