Our US-based paralegals strive to meet and exceed attorney-client needs and expectations. Zirtual offers paralegals in every practice area and state, both transactional and litigation.

Our paralegals are vital members of Zirtual. The paralegal is the main point of contact with their assigned client(s) and will work independently with the law firms. The paralegal will receive support from their assigned Account Supervisor, who will assist with plan modifications, questions, feedback on quality, delegation, collaboration best practices, and more.

The paralegal will provide high-level professional service by working on tasks and projects as assigned by the client, ensuring they are executed on time and to the highest quality. The paralegal is responsible for being the main point of contact for their clients and being familiar with each client's needs and preferences.

Consistent and proactive communication with clients and Account Supervisors is essential. Paralegals should be available during business hours as agreed upon with each client; around-the-clock availability is not required. They must enter time daily using the provided tool, respond to all communication within a mutually agreed response time, maintain detailed client profiles, and follow Zirtual's best practices for success.

Position Summary

• Remote paralegal with experience in defamation, plaintiff's side employment, and personal injury law
• Part-time, 20 hours per month with potential for increase

• Drafting/revising pleadings
• Discovery support
• Client communications (requests, follow-ups, etc.)
• Filing and e-filing
• Formatting and proofreading documents
• Calendar management and deadline tracking
• Starting from templates and assembling basic case documents
• General legal admin and organization

Requirements

• Paralegal experience handling plaintiff's side employment law
• Experience with defamation and personal injury preferred, but not required
• Business hour availability
• Reliable home internet and computer
• Remote work experience preferred
