Zirtual has partnered with a top Utah law firm to find the right 1099 remote paralegal for their office.

Zirtual offers law firms practice area-specific, experienced virtual paralegals. Our US-based paralegals aim to meet and exceed attorney-client needs and expectations. We provide paralegals in every practice area and state, covering both transactional and litigation work.

Our paralegals are vital members of Zirtual. They serve as the main point of contact with their assigned clients and work independently with law firms. Each paralegal receives support from an Account Supervisor, who assists with plan modifications, questions, feedback, delegation, collaboration, and more.

The paralegal will deliver high-level professional services by working on tasks and projects assigned by the client, ensuring timely and high-quality execution. They are responsible for understanding their clients' needs and preferences and maintaining proactive communication.

Paralegals should be available during business hours as agreed with each client. They are expected to enter time daily using provided tools, respond promptly to communications, maintain detailed client profiles, and follow Zirtual's best practices.

Position Summary

• Remote paralegal with experience in defamation, plaintiff's side employment, and personal injury law
• Part-time, 20 hours per month with potential for increase

Key Areas of Support Include:

• Drafting and revising pleadings
• Discovery support
• Client communications (requests, follow-ups, etc.)
• Filing and e-filing
• Formatting and proofreading documents
• Calendar management and deadline tracking
• Preparing basic case documents from templates
• General legal admin and organization

Requirements

• Paralegal experience in plaintiff's side employment law
• Experience with defamation and personal injury preferred but not required
• Availability during business hours
• Reliable home internet and computer
• Remote work experience preferred

Benefits
