Job Title: Dealer Development Contracts Paralegal

Volt is immediately hiring a Dealer Development Contracts Paralegal to support their Fountain Valley facility. This is a 100% remote role and/or hybrid if you prefer.

Responsibilities:
  1. Launch dealer packages as necessary and review all dealer package submissions to ensure completeness and adherence to Dealer Sales and Service Agreements, policies, procedures, guidelines, and timing requirements, both internally and externally, including state statutes.
  2. Prepare documentation related to new Sales and Service Agreements, including Provisions, Renewals, Amendments, Buy/Sells, and Terminations.
  3. Maintain and update the national master file database, address inquiries, and manage activities related to buy/sells, open points, or terminations. Monitor dealer activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of databases and master files.
  4. Support various functions within the National and Regional Dealer Network Development teams and coordinate with Region/National/Legal/Outside Counsel to execute Market Representation assignments efficiently.
  5. Assist in establishing departmental policies and procedures for evaluating proposals to meet short- and long-term market representation objectives.
  6. Generate reports, resolve system issues, improve communications on databases and websites, and support ad hoc projects.

Hours are full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. This role is temporary for 12 months, with potential extension, offering an opportunity to work with a top company known for hiring talented individuals.

Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-2 years of experience in dealer development or as a paralegal handling transactional work such as NDAs, service agreements, contracts, or franchise paperwork.
Pay Rate:

$38-40 per hour, based on factors including education, experience, location, and certifications.
