Job summary

Responsibilities

• Handles a mix of employment litigation and advice/counseling in collaboration with Workplace Analytics and Government Contracting practice groups.
• Defends employers in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation against a broad range of employment claims.
• Represents employers before federal and state administrative agencies in charges of discrimination, investigations, enforcement actions, and contractor compliance reviews.
• Advises employers on Colorado and federal labor and employment law compliance, including pay equity and pay transparency obligations.
• Counsels government contractors on equal employment opportunity and affirmative action compliance obligations.
• Supports the validation of pre-employment tests and other selection procedures.
• Comfort with large data reports is a plus for candidates.

• Handles a mix of employment litigation and advice/counseling, collaborating with the firm's Workplace Analytics and Government Contracting practice groups, including their data analysts and statisticians.
• Defends employers in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation against a broad range of employment claims, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Represents employers before federal and state administrative agencies in charges of discrimination, investigations, enforcement actions, and government contractor compliance reviews.
• Advises employers on Colorado and federal labor and employment law compliance, including pay equity and pay transparency obligations and privileged pay equity analyses.
• Counsels government contractors on equal employment opportunity and affirmative action compliance obligations.
• Supports the validation of pre-employment tests and other selection procedures, including adverse impact analyses.
• Comfort with large data reports is a plus for candidates.
