Job summary

AbleLight seeks a dedicated Job Coach to build a pipeline of employment opportunities for adults with IDD, while serving as a coach for clients and ensuring proper documentation. The role requires coordinating with schools, districts, and partner organizations to advance pre-employment transition services.

You will be responsible for case management, job readiness activities, and regular site visits, with attention to licensure, billing, and client success. On-site work in California is expected.

Qualifications

• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of marketing and public relations and their implications for business growth.
• Ability to think strategically, multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter comfortable in a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and maintain positive community and business relationships to find gainful employment.
• Coordinate with school districts and colleges to develop pre-employment transition services.
• Perform as a Job Coach with a caseload and provide career counseling, evaluation and training.
• Maintain documentation and ensure licensing, billing and compliance.
