Job summary

AbleLight in Visalia, CA is seeking a dedicated Employment Specialist to expand our supported employment program. You will build a pipeline of employers and clients, act as a job coach for a diverse caseload, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
• Two years of relevant experience with IDD exposure; leadership preferred.
• Active Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of business and clientele for employment services.
• Perform as a Job Coach for a caseload of clients with job readiness needs.
• Provide career counseling, evaluation, and skills training.
• Develop and implement person-centered employment goals (IPE) with teams.
• Maintain timely program documentation and ensure licensing/billing compliance.
• Advocate for inclusion and coordinate with school districts on transition services.
