Job summary

SOAR365 is seeking a Supported Employment Specialist I (Job Coach) to help individuals with disabilities obtain meaningful, competitive employment. This full-time role emphasizes hands-on coaching, employment supports, and follow-along services delivered by a collaborative team.

You will build employer partnerships, remove barriers to success, and develop skills that enable sustained work, with flexible scheduling that may include evenings and weekends to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, education, social work, vocational rehabilitation, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in human services, education, rehabilitation, or a similar setting.
• Ability to build relationships with individuals with disabilities, families, employers, and partner agencies.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; pass SOAR365 driving test.
• CPR/First Aid and Therapeutic Options certifications; complete ACRE within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect job coaching and employment supports to individuals with disabilities.
• Develop skills, relationships with inclusive employers, and maintain community business contacts.
• Meet monthly billable hour requirements and complete accurate, timely documentation.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and ensure compliance with agency policies and safety standards.
