Job summary

Career Team LLC is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist ES to provide Employer Services under the WPA, helping jobseekers and employers in a Workforce Solutions Office. You will establish business relationships, assist with job orders, and coordinate events to connect job seekers with opportunities.

The role emphasizes data-driven outreach, stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring compliance while delivering high-quality services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required with at least two years in recruiting, case management, or workforce development.
• Strong ability to analyze labor market data and translate insights into outreach strategies.
• Experience building relationships with local businesses and organizations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with local businesses and organizations.
• Assist employers with WorkinTexas.com registrations and post job orders.
• Plan and execute recruiting and hiring events for employers across industries and diverse job seekers.
• Deliver presentations about employment opportunities and labor market information.
• Refer employers to develop transitional and permanent job opportunities through OJT and other programs.
• Record services and document data in WorkInTexas.com for compliance with Wagner Peyser services.
• Ensure confidentiality of customers’ personal data and information.
• Track participant activity and report on placements and new employer partnerships.
