The role involves assessing customer needs, counseling, referrals, and helping individuals become employable through integrated county offices. The incumbent will recruit participants, conduct tests to identify aptitudes, and coordinate with partner agencies to promote WorkOne services within the county.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• At least one year of employment and training experience.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsels participants to establish goals and steps for development and employment plans.
• Uses a computer daily for record keeping, case management, and reporting.
• Explains program eligibility, laws, and procedures to participants; conducts workshops or counseling sessions.
