Job summary

California State University, Long Beach invites applications for an Employer Recruitment & Programs Coordinator. This role leads employer engagement, coordinates events, and expands part-time, internship, and career opportunities for CSULB students.

The candidate will provide advising to students and alumni, coordinate postings, and develop partnerships with a broad range of employers. A Bachelor’s degree and at least three years’ experience in student services or career programs are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years’ professional experience in student services or related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment trends, career development, and job-search strategies.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead employer recruitment and program events; develop policies to meet program goals.
• Build relationships with local, regional, national, and international employers; maintain ongoing communication.
• Coordinate CareerLINK postings; ensure compliance with guidelines and maximize system usage by students and employers.
• Develop and manage a student professional development event calendar for each semester.
• Provide career advising and coaching to students and alumni, guiding career exploration and job search.
