Job summary

Clemson University is seeking a data-focused Specialist to maintain employer, insurer, courts, and other party records in the automated system. You will serve as a customer service liaison to system users and the employer community, ensuring data is updated and verified promptly.

Key duties include data management, analysis and reporting, technical support, and general clerical tasks. This is a time-limited staff position located in Columbia, SC with standard hours and a salary around $38,000 to

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree or bachelor's degree may substitute for required work experience.
Experience with data management and customer service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Data Management: Research and outreach to employers and other parties to document contact and benefit information; update and verify records timely.
Analyze & Report: troubleshoot problems, track and communicate unresolved issues, and assist with management reports.
Technical Support: respond to system user inquiries via tickets, emails, calls, or desk visits; resolve data issues within two business days.
Customer Service: liaise with employers to ensure compliance with income withholding and provide guidance on withholdings.
General Clerical: perform related office duties and back up the New Hire Unit.
