Job summary

Frost is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist I - University Recruiting to be the first line of support for our employees, partnering with managers to recruit and hire for non-exempt roles. You will counsel staff, guide managers, and help maintain a respectful, compliant workplace in a long-standing Texas-based bank.

The role emphasizes integrity and excellence while presenting new hires to Frost culture and managing essential HR processes, including onboarding, investigations, and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interview and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified applicants for non-exempt positions; partner with managers to understand skills and competencies.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors; refer complex matters to appropriate staff.
• Conduct Exit Interviews.
• Enter and maintain payroll information including rates, salaries, bonuses, and time off.
• Counsel and guide employees to assist and mediate work-related situations.
• Present New Hire Induction and Orientation to acclimate new employees to Frost and strengthen culture.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Administer the FMLA process and ADA requests.
• Other assigned duties.
• Always act with integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve productive outcomes.
