Job summary

Helmerich & Payne, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to support leaders with performance issues, policy interpretation, and compliance. The role requires handling investigations, coaching, and providing strategic HR guidance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in HR, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Onsite location in Tulsa with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related degree, or combination of experience and education required.
• 3+ years' experience in Human Resources.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, and employment laws.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and responds to employee relations issues, policy violations, and performance concerns.
• Supports leaders in coaching employees and implementing disciplinary actions.
• Provides reporting and analysis to detect trends and support HR strategy.
• Communicates changes in personnel policies and ensures compliance.
• Counsels management regarding unemployment claims hearings and may attend hearings.
• Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation.
