Job summary

Hankook Tire Co. is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to lead HR Employee Relations, develop policies, ensure compliance, and improve morale within our manufacturing campus in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role focuses on interpreting policies, coordinating training, and maintaining strong relationships with employees and management.

You will drive continuous improvement in workforce relations. The position is exempt, full-time, with core hours and direct reporting to the Employee Relations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preference for HR management/organizational psychology.
• Seveal years of relevant HR experience or 2+ years in Employee Relations.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead interpretation and implementation of HR policies across the company.
• Direct employee relations, training programs, and EEO compliance.
• Maintain government contacts and regulatory information.
• Promote the company's image and participate in community affairs.
• Develop programs for performance standards for employees.
• Assist in establishing standards for hourly and salaried personnel.
• Recruit, interview, and reference applicants; coordinate with consultants.
• Analyze absenteeism, leave, policy application, safety, productivity, etc.
• Drive morale initiatives and workforce development; prioritize actions.
