Job summary

Hankook Tire Co. in Clarksville, TN seeks a Health Systems Specialist to ensure health and safety compliance and drive a safe, healthy workplace.

This exempt, full-time role oversees inspections, workers’ compensation and training initiatives in coordination with the Environmental Health & Safety Team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in health care administration or industrial hygiene, strong English skills, and a background in safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of health care administration or industrial hygiene.
• Strong command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Inspect First Aid/AED cabinets and ensure readiness.
• Administer Workers' Comp and Return to Work programs.
• Conduct Industrial Hygiene inspections for OSHA/TOSHA compliance.
• Perform Ergonomic assessments and hearing tests.
• Update and implement health-related policies with the Program Coordinator.
• Track health-related metrics in EHS software.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance regarding information sharing and records.
• Develop and conduct health-related training (in-person and LMS).
• Ensure Bloodborne Pathogen compliance.
• Participate in Gemba walks throughout the facility.
• Administer health KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in design, setup, and implementation of new health equipment and processes.
• Administer the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace Program.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
