Job summary

CrossAmerica Partners LP is seeking an HR Specialist Employee Relations to support employees and management across a multi-state network of locations. The role focuses on policy compliance, investigations, data reporting, and partnering with Risk, Safety, and Legal on workplace issues.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in HR/Business and 2+ years in employee relations, with strong Excel and HRIS skills and the ability to travel up to 30% to store locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of employee relations or performance management experience, preferably in a multi-site, hourly workforce environment.
• Preferred: exposure to risk management, loss prevention, workplace safety, or workers' compensation.

Responsibilities

• Resolve employee issues by communicating policy, responding to inquiries, and advising management on compliant decisions.
• Serve as the initial contact for employee relations inquiries via calls, emails, and hotline reports.
• Evaluate issues’ scope and risk; escalate complex matters to Employee Relations Manager as needed.
• Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Support HR management on various project work.
• Conduct and document workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, theft, and policy violations across locations.
• Maintain confidential case records in HRIS and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and share dashboards with HR and operations leadership.
• Coach management on corrective actions and training for performance improvement.
