Job summary

Environmental Air Systems in the southeastern United States is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to manage and maintain positive relationships with employees at our Asheboro, NC sites.

You will act as the frontline liaison for complaints, provide guidance on policies, and coordinate open enrollment and training opportunities. Travel to sites as needed; bilingual Spanish is preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
• Addresses routine labor relations inquiries related to policies, procedures, and concerns.
• Refers complex matters to appropriate management staff or Human Resources.
• Spreads awareness of upcoming events, learning opportunities and other company and employment requirements such as open enrollment.
• Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources.
• Spends the majority of the workday in front of employees.
