Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Employee Relations Manager to join our Corporate Human Resources team in Chicago, IL. You will oversee investigations, coach managers on performance management, and guide policies and practice across the organization.

The role partners with Legal, Compliance, and HR to resolve complex matters and identify trends shaping workforce strategy. You will contribute to trainings and resources, support separations where needed, and help drive initiatives that

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations or HR
• Experience with workplace investigations
• Knowledge of performance management and corrective action
• Ability to analyze HR data and trends

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters from intake through resolution with thorough documentation
• Conduct workplace investigations and address performance concerns
• Advise and coach managers on performance management including action plans
• Guide managers through separations and other employment actions with proper communications
• Develop guidance, resources, and training on employee relations and performance management
• Identify trends and use data to strengthen engagement and reduce risk
• Lead or contribute to special projects supporting employee relations priorities
