Job summary

Prosperity Bank is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across functions, with a focus on employee relations and compliance with employment laws.

You will coach managers, conduct internal investigations, assist with unemployment claims and leave administration, and help develop HR policies and programs that align with regulatory requirements and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required.
• Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• 3+ years of FMLA and ADA administration.
• 3+ years of employee relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support across HR functions with focus on employee relations.
• Assist managers with coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Conduct internal investigations as assigned.
• Assist HR team with unemployment claims and hearing tasks.
• Cross train in other Generalist duties to serve as support and back-up.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR plans, policies, procedures, and goals.
• Recommend improvements to the HR function as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
