Job summary

George J. Igel & Co., Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Representative to partner with leaders and employees across offices and job sites. You will advise on employee relations, engagement, onboarding, recognition, and offboarding, ensuring a positive culture aligned with the company’s mission and values.

This exempt role requires strong HR knowledge, confidential handling of information, and the ability to work both in office and at job sites with hybrid flexibility up to two days per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, or related field.
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel to offices and jobsites as needed.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and sign confidentiality agreement.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and support ownership decisions.

• Become a DOT drug-test collector and comply with related procedures.
