Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking an administrative coordinator to support employee recognition programs and events. You will help manage logistics, maintain records, and ensure a consistent recognition experience across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Two years of administrative, customer service, event coordination, or office support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative and operational support for employee recognition programs, events, and department activities.
  • Coordinates routine program logistics, including materials, supplies, attendance information, vendor communication, and on-site event support.
  • Maintains recognition program records, databases, inventories, mailing lists, and other information needed to support accurate and timely program delivery.
  • Supports employee recognition platforms, communication tools, and related resources by maintaining content, processing updates, and coordinating with internal and external partners.
  • Administers routine recognition services and employee-facing resources in accordance with established guidelines and organizational procedures.
  • Assists with recognition activities at main, off-site, and regional locations to support a consistent employee experience.
  • Provides support for special projects, department priorities, and recurring recognition activities as needed.

Essential Functions

Education Requirement
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Associate's Degree, preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn recognition and event management software.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Two years of administrative, customer service, event coordination, or office support experience, preferred.
