Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner to provide day-to-day leadership of assigned areas in our steel fabrication and manufacturing site in Arkansas.

You will supervise staff, drive safety, quality, and on-time performance, and work with the site management team on production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead daily huddles, coach team members, monitor KPI performance, manage cost control, and mentor future leaders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in fabrication of structural steel.
• Two-year degree in related field or a minimum of two years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read fabrication shop drawings and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and enforce PPE usage.
• Promote daily team huddles and participate in meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety, quality, productivity and on-time performance.
• Coach and develop team members to grow leadership capabilities.
• Plan and balance work hours across work cells and manage workload.
