Job summary

• Ensure courteous customer service, handle questions/requests/complaints with store policies.
• Monitor checkout area safety and efficiency and assist with express lanes when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and supervise front-end staff; respond to customer questions and complaints.
• Oversee hiring, discipline, promotion, and evaluation of front-end personnel.
• Develop weekly labor schedules with store manager approval.
• Ensure safety rules and proper operation of POS, scanners, scales and intercom.
• Call for additional front-end help and manage express lanes.
• Supervise checkout, bagging, and cart movement from store to customer.
