Job summary

Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. seeks a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join its Denver-based Structural Practice, with option for remote work in Colorado or Arizona.

You will perform structural analysis and design for transportation structures, including bridges and culverts, using steel and concrete materials and industry software. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, PE license (Colorado and/or Arizona preferred), 5+ years of bridge experience, and strong communication skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in structural engineering.
• PE license required; Colorado and/or Arizona licensure preferred, with other states a plus.
• 5+ years of structural analysis and design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of transportation structures (bridges, culverts, retaining walls).
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and structure selection reports.
• Perform bridge and culvert inspections and load ratings.
