Job summary

Huck’s Food and Fuel is seeking a Market Assistant Manager to oversee shift operations, drive profitability, and support the Store Manager. You will lead customer service, scheduling, and daily store tasks while promoting the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty program.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to company policy, and professionalism. Advancement opportunities exist as training and openings arise in store management.

Qualifications

• No formal tech skills required.

Responsibilities

• Gives customers prompt and courteous service, greeting customers using the gasoline intercom and upholding Best In Class standards.
• Observe shift hours and help fill shifts as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Work the store manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week during peak hours.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Communicate effectively with store associates and management.
• Follow all laws pertaining to store operation.
• Be a role model of conduct for associates and report sales or cash discrepancies.
• Ensure associates wear proper uniforms and deliver prompt service.
• Complete shift change reports and clock hours in/out as required.
• Record all sales, over rings, refunds, and daily deposits per policy.
• Notify Store Manager of personnel situations or policy violations.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment and secure cash and merchandise.
• Promote and assist customers with Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app.
• Follow merchandising, maintenance, safety, and sanitation procedures.
