Huck’s Food and Fuel is seeking a Market Assistant Manager to lead shifts and support store operations at a busy neighborhood location. The role emphasizes delivering fast, friendly service and upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Observe shift hours and help fill shifts as needed.
• Work the store manager's days off and at least two evening shifts per week.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Store Manager and communicate with staff.
• Follow all laws and policies and model appropriate conduct for associates.
• Ensure discounts, sales, and cash/operating discrepancies are reported.
• Ensure uniforms are worn and customer service is prompt and courteous.
• Complete shift change reports and record hours accurately.
• Record sales, over-rings, refunds, deposits, and journal daily paperwork.
• Treat associates with dignity and respect and report policy concerns.
• Maintain a safe shopping and working environment and secure cash/merchandise.
• Maintain stocked shelves and displays and ensure correct pricing.
• Keep store appearance clean and well-maintained; ensure facilities are in good order.
• Promote Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and assist customers with sign-up and usage.
