Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, using the gasoline intercom, per Best In Class standards.
• Monitor shift hours and help fill shifts as assigned.
• Cover the store manager's days off and at least two evening shifts weekly.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
• Communicate effectively with staff and management.
• Follow all laws and ordinances in store operations.
• Model professional conduct.
• Report sales, cash, and operating discrepancies to the Store Manager.
• Ensure associates wear proper uniforms and provide prompt service.
• Complete shift change reports.
• Record all hours worked.
• Ring up all sales per policy.
• Record overrings and refunds accurately.
• Complete daily paperwork and make deposits.
• Treat associates with dignity and respect.
• Inform Store Manager of personnel issues.
• Ensure shift procedures are followed.
• Maintain a safe environment.
• Handle cash and merchandise securely.
• Follow vendor check-in procedures.
• Keep coolers and shelves stocked.
• Clean and maintain equipment; prep high-margin products.
• Use correct pricing per policy.
• Maintain store appearance to company standards.
• Keep floors clean and polished.
• Keep windows clean.
• Sweep and maintain parking lot.
• Keep restrooms clean.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Follow lifting procedures.
• Use ladders properly.
• Use wet floor signs.
• Report accidents promptly.
• Promote Huck’s Bucks app.
• Explain app benefits to customers.
• Monitor for misuse of points.
• Assist customers with sign-up and use.
