Job summary

Charter Next Generation in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Direct Labor team member to operate 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, 15 days per month. You will monitor production, troubleshoot equipment, and participate in a comprehensive training program while supporting food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare markets.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with strong teamwork and opportunities for growth across our 15+ facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• OSHA certification and safety training preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safety management systems.
• Strong leadership abilities with proven success in team development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency with production planning systems and manufacturing technologies.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Wages ranging from $34.00 - $38.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials.
• Monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our training program.
• Coordinate production activities to meet safety, quantity, quality, and delivery targets.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance to coordinate equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Promote safety through personal example and reinforcement of protocols.
