Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Risk Insurance & Claims Manager to protect our balance sheet and employee-owners across multiple offices. You will oversee the enterprise insurance program, claims strategy, and risk-transfer contracts, partnering with executive leadership and Legal.

You'll shape data-driven risk insights, support growth initiatives, and lead renewal processes with brokers and carriers while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressive experience in corporate risk management or related fields.
• Experience managing multi-line insurance programs for large organizations.
• Ability to analyze insurance proposals, policy language, loss information and risk-transfer strategies.
• Strong communication with executives, attorneys, finance professionals, project managers and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Internal owner of the enterprise insurance program and coverage management.
• Manage policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance and exposure data.
• Lead claims tracking, investigations and recovery strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee renewal processes and broker/underwriter relationships.
• Develop analytics dashboards and reports for leadership and growth initiatives.
• Provide training on insurance requirements and risk transfer best practices.
