Job summary

LJA is seeking a Risk Insurance & Claims Manager to safeguard the firm’s balance sheet, reputation, and employee-owner interests. You will oversee a broad insurance program, manage claims, and coordinate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and executives to embed risk-aware practices across a growing multi-office engineering consultancy.

Responsibilities include leading insurance renewals, dashboards, and reporting while partnering with brokers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure coverage,

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in corporate risk management or related fields.
• Experience managing a complex multi-line insurance program.
• Experience managing insurance renewals and broker relationships.
• Experience with certificates of insurance and endorsements.
• Strong analytical ability and communication skills.
• Experience with international insurance and project-specific programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise insurance program across multiple coverages.
• Manage policies, endorsements, certificates, coverage schedules and data.
• Oversee claims management and recovery strategy with stakeholders.
• Lead renewal process and broker relationships for transparency and value.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for risk improvement.
• Provide training on insurance requirements and risk management best practices.
