Job summary

NW Recruiting Partners' client, a Seattle-based employee-owned general contractor, is seeking a Project Manager for its Special Projects Group. You will oversee tenant improvement and special projects valued $5–$10 million, from pursuit to closeout, coordinating with clients, design partners, and field teams.

You will develop budgets, lead preconstruction and procurement, manage schedules and financial performance, and mentor other team members while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• At least three years on commercial construction or tenant improvements.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to estimate and manage from preconstruction to closeout.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple tenant improvement and special projects from pursuit to closeout.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, design partners, subcontractors and teams.
• Develop conceptual budgets, estimates and competitive bids for assigned projects.
• Lead preconstruction planning, value engineering, procurement and logistics.
• Create and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
• Coordinate with superintendents to maintain safety, quality and schedule.
• Review subcontractor proposals and pay applications; support monthly billings.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
