Job summary

T. W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. in the Midlothian, TX area is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial construction projects. This employee-owned firm offers stake in the company and a culture leveraging AR/VR, drone scanning, 4D modeling, and more.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate projects, work with clients, design teams, and subcontractors, and ensure goals, budgets, and timelines are met. Travel within a 75-mile radius and occasional overnight stays are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3-7 years of project management experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• Experience managing small-to-mid-sized projects typically ranging from $5M to $25M.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-service mindset.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Vizta, P6 Scheduling, Timberline Estimating, and Autodesk Build/Cost.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine project goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate due diligence and ensure documentation is maintained.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and cost control; track progress.
• Provide estimating assistance to preconstruction staff.
• Lead weekly project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support VDC implementation with Construction Technology Leader.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
