BROADMOOR | CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Broadmoor, LLC in Metairie, LA seeks an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to develop estimates, budgets, and schedules, working closely with project teams, clients, designers, and trade partners to produce precise, well-supported budgets. This is an exempt, full-time role with an ESOP-driven culture and collaborative environment.

The position reports to the Director of Preconstruction and requires forecasting costs, planning labor/material/equipment needs, reading

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Two or more years of professional experience in construction/architecture/engineering.
• Ability to read construction documents and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Excel and estimating/document-review tools; Revit/AutoCAD/Adobe Acrobat valued.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and forecast costs, size, scope, and duration of future projects.
• Plan project approach with Project Management for sequencing and resource needs.
• Perform quantity surveys and assemble bid packages for subcontractor pricing.
• Build detailed estimate spreadsheets and transfer budgets into PM systems.
• Analyze bids, identify gaps, and assist with project buyout.
