Job summary

Broadmoor LLC in Shreveport, LA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team on commercial construction projects. You will assist with contract administration, procurement, document control, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management, coordinating with field operations and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of professional experience in project management, field supervision, estimating, or preconstruction for a commercial general contractor or subcontractor.
• Working knowledge of project planning, scheduling, estimating, and commercial construction trades.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction project-management, estimating, and scheduling software.
• Solid math, budgeting, and financial-analysis skills, along with teamwork and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work from and support projects in the Shreveport / Northwest Louisiana market, including travel among regional jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager from startup through completion and closeout.
• Assist with contract administration, procurement, document control, financial and risk management, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with field operations and supervise/mentor Project Engineers as assigned.
