Wyatt Field Service Company is seeking a Mechanical Construction Estimator to develop precise cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for complex projects across power, industrial, biotech, and data center sectors. You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations to evaluate scope, labor, materials, and site logistics, and help deliver competitive bids that support winning projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of construction estimating or construction management experience.
• Experience in power generation and industrial construction environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience with Lump Sum, Fixed Fee, and Time & Material contract structures.
• Advanced knowledge of construction estimating, labor analysis, quantity take-offs, and cost modeling.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, technical specifications, and scope development.
• Working knowledge of project cost accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry estimating and scheduling software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and equipment layouts to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, preconstruction, and operations teams on scope and labor needs.
• Perform quantity take-offs and analyze subcontractor quotes.
• Support value engineering and assess constructability risks impacting cost or schedule.
• Assist in pre-bid meetings and site visits; maintain estimating databases with market trends.
