Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is hiring for a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler in Texas. The role involves receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and shipping inventory, with work guided by a Warehouse Management System (WMS). The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, and the compensation is $22.00 per hour with a $2.00 differential.

Steel-toed boots are required. The position emphasizes safety, physical stamina, and accurate handling of materials, including cutting and packing wires and cables,

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment per safety instructions.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment and adapt to weather conditions.
• Must wear steel-toe boots per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move inventory in the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment and machinery per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and perform daily safety inspections.
• Cut wire and cable with machines and prepare products for shipment.
• Fill orders and prepare UPS and non-UPS shipments using WMS processes.
• Receive, store, and issue stock following WMS procedures.
• Consolidate inventory and perform cycle counts as required.
