Job summary

Graybar Electric Company is seeking a Heavy Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory using a Warehouse Management System. The role is in an environment where you may cut wire and operate large machinery in the pipe department, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. The role requires physical endurance and the ability to manage inventory and prepare shipments with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts).
• Follow safety instructions and PPE usage.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and large machinery.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse; daily safety inspections.
• Cut wire and cable with machines; ensure accuracy of cuts.
• Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables per job orders.
• Fill product orders as requested by customers.
• Receive material per WMS processes; identify discrepancies.
