Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Texas to ensure products move efficiently through receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping processes. You will work with our Warehouse Management System and contribute to a safe, organized facility.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–7:30pm, with starting pay of $19.00 per hour depending on experience. Two or more years in a large warehouse environment are preferred, and safety inspections are part of daily

Qualifications

• No fear of heights.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age of 18 required.
• Good attendance and work ethic.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
