Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Superintendent in the Phoenix, AZ area to lead day-to-day field construction activities and ensure safety and quality on the project. You will coordinate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to execute the construction plan and monitor progress.

The role requires strong plan-reading skills, the ability to manage direct reports, and experience supervising commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Proficient with reading plans and specs.
• Ability to build and manage direct reports.
• Experience in supervising commercial construction field activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day field construction activities.
• Ensure site safety and implement safety plans.
• Plan site layout, material storage, and crane/hoist areas.
• Coordinate with project team on schedules, resources, and issues.
• Supervise subcontracted work to maintain high workmanship quality.
