Job summary

Integrated Life Choices (ILC) is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, helping them live meaningful lives.

You will provide person-centered supports, maintain safe environments, and document each shift. DSPs may transport individuals and assist with daily living activities, rights advocacy, and group participation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Background checks completed (Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry check, Criminal background check).

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in understanding and exercising their rights.
• Provide person-centered supports to meet people’s needs throughout life.
• Document the support provided during every shift.
• Provide transportation for those you support.
• Assist with personal hygiene and medical-related needs, including medication administration.
• Encourage independence and community participation.
