Job summary

Integrated Life Choices (ILC) is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in various settings. As a DSP, you will help people achieve their hopes and dreams, work independently, create safe environments, and document the support provided during every shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successfully complete and pass all checks including Nebraska Child/Adult Protective Services Central Registry check and criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to understand and exercise their rights.
• Encourage independent living through self-advocacy.
• Provide person-centered supports to meet needs.
• Support positive interactions and improve social connections.
• Provide transportation for those supported.
• Teach skills to improve a person’s life and independence.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene as needed.
