Job summary

Precision Walls is seeking a Division 10/12 Sales/Estimator to join our team. The role focuses on analyzing drawings to prepare complete cost estimates for Division 10 bathrooms partitions and grab rails and Division 12 blinds, helping win bids with accurate pricing.

The position requires 2-3 years in the trade, strong cost mindset, and the ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in the trade.
• Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus.
• Detail driven with an accounting mindset — “Know your costs”.
• Excellent organizational skills — sequences and order.
• Computer and technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Accurately estimating project costs and analyzing materials, equipment, and labor requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates for bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and other stakeholders to create customized solutions for clients.
• Ensure proposals are submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with client specifications and deadlines.
• Clearly articulate the scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and value propositions in proposals to win new business.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to obtain product information, lead times, availability, and technical specifications.
• Participate in customer entertainment activities.
• Follow up with clients after proposal submissions to gather feedback and refine future estimates.
• Other duties as assigned.
