Job summary

Integrated Life Choices in Nebraska is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You will provide person-centered supports to help individuals pursue their hopes and dreams.

DSPs work independently, create safe environments, and document the support provided during each shift. Transportation and daily living assistance are included, with an emphasis on inclusion and empowerment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Nebraska background checks must be completed.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Ability to work independently and in community settings.
• Strong communication and compassionate demeanor required.

Responsibilities

• Support people in understanding and exercising their rights.
• Encourage independent living through self-advocacy.
• Provide person-centered supports to meet individuals' needs.
