Job summary

The Kendall Group is hiring a Counter Sales Representative to promote and develop business by providing prompt, friendly, and professional service to customers in-person and over the phone. You may assist in the warehouse or with local deliveries, in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include selling products, promoting add-ons, building customer relationships, and supporting inventory and warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Work Experience: Entry-level
• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Licenses/Certifications: Driver's license with appropriate state licensing and clean driving record; DOT Medical Exam and 1-year Card
• Analytics/Computer Skills: Use barcode scanner, printer, and standard warehouse equipment/tools

Responsibilities

• Sell company products and services to customers visiting or calling into the location, gathering information about their needs, providing technical assistance, quoting, soliciting orders, and suggesting additional products in a fast-paced environment
• Promote sales growth, including add-on sales and vendor promotions, and promote Counter Days
• Create positive relationships with customers by clarifying product/service understanding and offering helpful information
• Participate in relevant training to grow in the role
• Assist customers with loading product into their vehicle
• Replenish inventory in the counter area
• Pick counter orders
• Participate in inventory cycle counts
• Assist in warehouse activities as needed
• Back-up delivery drivers as needed and if qualified
• Safely operate stand-up and/or sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks
• Maintain quality service by Kendall Group policies
• Participate in general housekeeping
• Perform other duties as assigned
