Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Press Operator to monitor up to 1,000-ton automatic presses and ensure stamped parts meet our quality standards and engineering specs. You will perform quality checks, document results in Plex ERP, and perform general utility tasks to meet the work schedule.

Responsibilities include loading correct coils, stamping per JES, inspecting parts, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. This role is on the Y Shift, 5 AM–5 PM, at our Kansas City, MO plant.

Formación

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all duties to ensure department and plant meet daily and weekly production requirements.
• References production orders in Plex to stamp product per JES.
• Select and load correct coils in stamping press to produce a quality stamping.
• Visual inspection and measurement to meet quality standards and gage instructions.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of work area and supports other work centers as needed.
